Last Meeting of the Year: Open Mic Night!!!!
This Tuesday will be our VERY LAST meeting of the year!!! This year has gone by so amazingly fast so we can't believe the end is already here, but we are determined to go out with a bang. With that in mind, we are ending this incredible semester with an open mic night, in which students can get up and share about what God has taught them or how God has challenged them throughout the year. This is a great opportunity to see what your friends have been learning, as well as a chance to encourage others with your own faith. We can't think of a better way to reflect on God's faithfulness this past year, so we hope you'll come out for this last meeting together!
This Week: Wanda Kidd!
This coming Tuesday will be our last regular BCM meeting of the semester!!! (The following week we'll be having Open Mic night) Our speaker is the BCM campus minister from Western Carolina, and she is rumored to be quite awesome. We'll be concluding our study of Colossiands, so if you want to hear Wanda's perspective on the topc. Come on onutWW
And Now For Something Completely Different...
As we continue to engage the book of Colossians, the leadership team decided to think creatively about how to interact with God's Word. This week, we will therefore be doing something a little different from the norm. Instead of having a speaker this Tuesday, we will be exploring Colossians 2 through interactive stations. These stations are designed to stimulate the senses and get you thinking in ways you never have before, so you are sure to be challenged!
Diving Into Colossians
After hearing about the importance of studying Scripture this past week, what better way to follow up than actually study Scripture! With that in mind, this week will kick off a study of the book of Colossians. Taking us through Chapter 1 will be Tim Conder, pastor of Emmaus Way in Durham, NC. Tim is a dynamic leader with a vision for engaging the culture, so his take on this chapter of Scripture is sure to be challenging. We hope to see you there!
