Drinking, Smoking, Tattoos and Jesus

This Tuesday Ike Miller will be returning to BCM to cover 1 Corinthians 8! In this chapter, Paul addresses a controversial topic during his time, and discusses the ways in which our behavior affects those around us. For a modern day application, Ike will be discussing some of the more controversial issues and behaviors in the church today, and what the Bible has to say about them.

This Week: Being Christian and Being Single

As we continue our study of 1 Corinthians we arrive at chapter 7, in which Paul discusses the topic of singleness. If you've ever wrestled with being single, how long you will stay single, and what to do in the mean time, come on out Tuesday at 7pm to hear Sharon dive into this section of Scripture!

This Tuesday: Curt Dean

We hope you all had a fantastic Spring Break and that you're adjusting to being back at school!! Now that BCM is back from our awesome Spring Break Mission trip (photos to come!) we're up and running in full force, and this coming Tuesday, March 24 we'll have Pastor Curt Dean from Lawndale Baptist Church speaking. He'll be talking about 1 Corinthians 6, a chapter that deals with sexual immorality in the church, so it's sure to be challenging!

BCM Movie Night!

This Tuesday we'll be taking a break from our regular Tuesday night schedule for BCM MOVIE NIGHT! We do this once a semester every year, and this semester we'll be watching the movie Fireproof. It has a great message that we can all learn from, but it's also a great story, so come on out to relax, enjoy a good movie, and eat some good food in the process!

Let's Talk About Sex!

Well it's time to discuss a topic that a lot of you want to know more about--sex. This coming Tuesday, February 24 we will launch into the "sex chapters" of 1 Corinthians--chapter 5 this week, and chapter 6 after Spring Break. 1 Corinthians approaches this topic from an angle that you probably won't expect, so come on out to hear what the Bible has to do say about it!
